Jeff Conroy
Jeff started his career working with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), and spend the first 16 years as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America starting in Portland Oregon then transferring to Coeur d’Alene, ID. He oversaw Scouting in North Idaho, was the Camp Director for Camp Easton and the Inland Northwest Council’s Program Director overseeing 27 camping programs, training, advancement, and all year round programs. He left the BSA in 2003 as the Chief Operations Officer to become the Executive Director of the United Way of Kootenai County. There he enjoyed an upswing of community awareness, board involvement, volunteer support and an increase in fundraising.
In 2008 Jeff became the Executive Director of St. Vincent DePaul. There he brought his experiences including fundraising, volunteer recruitment, developing training programs, budgeting, strategic planning, administration, staff and volunteer development, community networking, and marketing.
After 30 years in the nonprofit world, Jeff started Conroy Leadership Consulting building relationships with leaders and organizations removing the “roadblocks” to better success.
Jeff is a graduate of Western Oregon University with a degree in Music Education (yes, a music teacher), and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. He is a member Coeur d’Alene Sunrise Rotary, an instructor for the University of Idaho Nonprofit Certification Program, and loves all things Disney
